Internet's first green product search engine

This new search engine is still pretty slim on listings but I am sure it will be hot very quickly. They offer a free account to list products. So, get in there and register and starting getting your products and services listed.  I asked them to add a category for business services, so hopefully that will happen soon.

A green career

Have you ever wanted to have a "green" career to go with your values? I received an ezine today from Carol McClelland about her new websites--one of which is called: Green Career Central! How great is that! Now you can be green and have a green career. My virtual assistance practice is all about being eco-friendly so I already have a green career, but this is a great opportunity for the rest of you to incorporate your values into how you earn your money. Please check out her website:  www.GreenCareerCentral.com.

Go Pink, Stay Green!

I just received October's Pink magazine and it has tons of stuff about protecting the earth. I just love the fact that everyone is getting on the GREEN bandwagon. It is starting to be a cliche, but it is all good if it makes a difference. I am so proud to be a woman working hard to protect the earth. My 12-year old daughter made a comment this morning about global warming and she said she was concerned because polar bears will be extinct in 50 years if we don't do something NOW. Pretty astonishing that even our younger children are being more aware and finding ways so that they can make a difference!

Here's to the next generation!

I am a foodie....

Most of my friends know that I am a foodie at heart (I love food). So I was surprised when I got my newsletter from Food TV and they talked about "eating green." Just so everyone can read the article, here is the link. I was thrilled that they talked about organic, sustainable, natural, locally grown, etc. And they even included recipes! I am definitely bookmarking that page for future reference.
