Chicks go green...

The Green Business Conference... is finally here!

Well, I am in SF for the Green Business Conference and I am so excited. I also get tickets to the Green Festival that is this weekend! I went to that last year and it was overwhelming and inspiring at the same time. Who knew there could be so many green vendors and that many types of hemp clothing?

There are over 300 people here at the Business Conference that are committed to being green in their business. How inspiring is that?  The event appears to be top notch (they have thought of everything) and I am thrilled to be a part of it. The funnest part is meeting other green business owners. I can't think of a better thing to be doing for three days (well, I might think of a couple).

I will post in my ezine (and on the blog) on Thursday some of the highlights so far (the event goes through Friday afternoon). So far, I am already inspired and excited about what I will learn. They even are serving organic and some vegetarian meals. How cool is that?

I guess you can tell I am excited! So, come back here in a day or two and I will share what I have learned.

Hybrid cars... again

Okay, I can't get away from the fact that I REALLY want a hybrid. I posted the other day about the fact that my car is only three years old and it seemed irresponsible to get a new car (even if it was a hybrid). Well, today I was blog hopping (as I tend to do to keep up on current events) and came across this post about greening up your car, a handy alternative to buying a new hybrid car. So read up and get some ideas.
